Take a day at Harlow – our specialist climbing, high adventure and paddle sports centre, also home to ‘The Lock’ one of the largest indoor climbing walls in the south east.
Harlow is our flagship day activity centre, an oasis of adventure close to London with excellent transport links, just off the M11.
Situated directly on the Stort Navigation with access to miles of tranquil waterways, we provide the ideal environment to learn to canoe, kayak or stand-up paddleboard or even try a hand at ‘bumble’ – our unique inland version of coasteering.
Take advantage of our new High Ropes Adventure Course, an exciting ariel trekking activity set over two levels of increasing difficulty. Access the course via the rope bridge set high above the water and discover an exciting array of obstacles including cargo nets, balance bars and barrel swings.
Couple the High Ropes Adventure with a session on the new colourful outdoor climbing walls for the perfect aerial challenge.
All Essex Outdoors Activity Sessions support specific learning outcomes, and help to build a combination of: Communication, concentration, confidence, resilience and team work, as well as supporting how to ‘Manage Risk’.
Other exhilarating activities available include archery, climb adventure course, orienteering and raft building as well as off road biking.
Speak to the centre to build your bespoke package to suit your objectives and give them a day to remember.
*Prices based on 3 x90 minute activity sessions
