Forest school
Feel inspired by nature. Forest School involves regular visits to local areas of woodland or coastline. Here children can develop a connection with, and appreciation of, their environment. They’ll enjoy complete freedom – to be creative and explore. They’ll also be able to flex their imagination and to play, and to learn using natural materials and tools in new and exciting surroundings.
Our commitment to environmental and outdoor learning is long-standing. We played a leading role in the development of Forest Schools in Essex and are active members of the Forest School Association as well as the Essex Learning Outside the Classroom forum.
Our experienced instructors can also offer environmental education sessions to support your delivery of the national curriculum, either at our centres or in your school setting. Topics are available at EYFS, KS1 & KS2
